Cazera 1-Year Painting Warranty — Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction
Cazera is committed to delivering high-quality painting services using verified partners, trained supervisors, and branded materials. To build customer trust and ensure long-term satisfaction, Cazera provides a limited 1-year service warranty on eligible painting jobs.
This warranty applies only when the service is fully completed by Cazera's assigned partners, using our approved products and following prescribed surface preparation and application standards.

2. Warranty Duration & Validity

The warranty is valid for 12 months (1 year) from the date of job completion as mentioned in the final invoice or work completion report signed by both parties.

In case the work is done in phases (room-by-room), Cazera reserves the right to determine the start date of the warranty.

This warranty is applicable only once. Any repair work done under warranty does not restart or extend the warranty period.

Warranty is valid only for the original client and service address. It is non-transferable to others or to different locations.

3. Scope of Coverage (What is Covered)
This warranty applies only to defects arising due to poor surface preparation, improper application technique, or material handling by Cazera’s assigned painters.
The following defects are covered under warranty only when they are not caused by moisture, structural faults, or customer negligence:

Peeling or flaking of paint film

Bubbles or blisters on painted surfaces
-
Chalking (white powdery surface)
-
Early shade fading due to incorrect application
-
Patchy finish or color irregularities due to mixing/application errors
Warranty includes touch-up or repainting of only the affected area, using the same material and shade (if available).

4. Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)
Cazera shall not be liable to provide warranty services under the following conditions:

4.1 Structural & Moisture-Related Issues:

Wall dampness, water seepage, leakage (from plumbing or terrace)
-
Rising or lateral dampness from adjacent buildings or walls
-
Cracks in civil structure or loose plaster
-
Surface damage due to waterproofing failure

4.2 External Causes & Damage:
-
Damages due to nails, drilling, furniture movement, or other mechanical impact
-
Fire, flood, earthquake, cyclone, or any other natural disaster
-
Electrical or plumbing work done post-painting
-
Unauthorized repainting, patchwork, or chemical treatment by customer or third party

4.3 Product/Preference Issues:

Color mismatch or dissatisfaction with selected shade after completion
-
Customer changes their mind and demands rework without defect
-
Variation in finish due to older existing paint or lighting conditions
-
Repainting requests unrelated to performance or application quality

5. Warranty Conditions
To avail this warranty, the following conditions must be met:

The entire job was executed by Cazera’s approved painters and supervised through the company.

Branded paints recommended by Cazera (e.g., Asian Paints, Nerolac, etc.) were used.
-
Full payment must have been made to Cazera. No dues should be pending.
-
Proper photos or videos of the site before and after work are available.
-
Customer has not attempted self-repair or hired third parties for repainting.

6. Claim Process
To raise a warranty claim, the customer must:

Invoice number or job ID

Photos/videos showing the issue

Location and date of completion

Allow Cazera’s technical team to inspect the site (physically or virtually).

If approved, Cazera will arrange free repair/touch-up of the affected area within 15 business days.
Important:

Cazera’s inspection team has the final say in deciding whether the issue falls under warranty or not.

Repairs are limited to the affected area only, and may not match the rest of the surface 100% due to aging or external factors.

7. Limitation of Liability

Cazera shall not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including time delays, client’s loss of rent/income, or dissatisfaction beyond the specified scope.

This warranty is a service warranty, not a product warranty. For any material-related defects (e.g., paint manufacturing defect), the respective paint manufacturer’s warranty policy shall apply.

Warranty shall be voided if the customer refuses inspection, denies service access, delays repairs for more than 30 days after approval, or attempts fixes via unauthorized contractors.

Cazera’s maximum liability under this warranty shall not exceed ₹10,000 for any single project or claim, regardless of the scope or scale of the original job.
Any repairs or claims exceeding this limit will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

8. Legal Jurisdiction
All disputes related to the warranty, services, or scope shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan only.

9. Final Notes

Cazera reserves the right to amend or cancel this warranty policy at any time, without prior notice. However, existing jobs will continue under terms agreed at the time of completion.

Customers are advised to maintain proper site conditions (ventilation, dryness, minimal surface abrasion) to ensure long life of paintwork.
